Trans4Demo Consortium Meets in Berlin for Plenary Meeting and General Assembly

Trans4Demo Consortium in Berlin Plenary Meeting

On Friday, 30 January, the Trans4Demo consortium gathered in Berlin for its Plenary Meeting and General Assembly, marking an important milestone in the project’s progress.

The meeting brought together project partners from across Europe to reflect on achievements to date and to align on the next phases of work. Following the standard Horizon Europe format, the agenda combined scientific discussions, work package updates, and strategic coordination sessions, ensuring coherence across research, stakeholder engagement, and dissemination activities.

A key focus of the plenary was advancing Trans4Demo’s core mission: understanding citizens’ perceptions of democratic injustice and identifying how democratic systems can become more responsive, inclusive, and resilient. Partners discussed ongoing research on civic engagement, barriers to participation, and innovative democratic designs, as well as upcoming stakeholder consultations and policy-oriented outputs.

The General Assembly provided an opportunity to review governance, project management, and implementation timelines, reinforcing collaboration and shared ownership across the consortium.

The Berlin meeting reaffirmed the consortium’s collective commitment to delivering evidence-based insights and actionable recommendations that can support democratic transformation across Europe.
